Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (previously called NWFP)
  •  The Citizens Foundation:  TCF Relief   
    •  TCF has a network of 660 school units in 68 towns and cities across Pakistan.  TCF staff and supporters aim to provide food packages, water purifying packs and basic medicines to flood affected people.  TCF team has set itself a target of 20 million meals over a period of 30 days.

    Swat, Pakistan
    • J.A.W.A.N. Organization:
      • Relief efforts have been stalled because 67 bridges across Swat River were swept away. 
      • Food was delivered, with help from the Pakistani Army on a 7 hour route using mules and horses.  900 families given food and 300 packages dropped via helicopter to the town of Matta.
      • 250 food packages delivered to Alpure and 50 food packages distributed in Mingora city.

    •  Future Leads of Pakistan (FLP) provides humanitarian aid in Swat, Pakistan:
      • FLP has provided 200 relief packages to victims in Kalam and Bahrain (northern Swat) with help from the Pakistan Army.  Packages were airlifted to the area because bridges and roads have been destroyed by the flooding.  
      • 100 food packages were distribute to families in Bangladesh Kalay, Saidu Sharif, Swat, Faizabad, Mingora and Swat.

    • Save the Children:  
      • In partnership with the World Food Program, Save the Children has fed up to 85,000 families in Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Muzaffargarh, Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Shikarpur.
      • Mobile and stationary medical teams in Swat, Allai, Dera Ismail Khan, Buner, Sindh, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Rajanpur, Balochistan and Punjab
      • Provided tents, shelter kits and other essentials in Swat for 11,800 people.  In Dera Ismail Khan, gave shelter to 9,600 people.

    Nowshera and surrounding area:
    • Future Leaders of Pakistan (FLP) Organization:
      • Has distributing food packets to about 500 people in Fazil Koruna (village between Nowshera and Peshawar), Union Council Kurkvay, Tehsil Pabbi and District Nowshera.  Nearby villagers have taken shelter in schools and homes in Fazil Koruna, which has not been affected too badly.  Fazil Koruna has opened their hearts and homes to their fellow Pakistanis.  
      • Taj Shah, from Fazil Koruna said this about the situation:  “By the grace of God, our village has not been affected too badly, except for mud on the roads, and we are able to host our fellow countrymen from nearby villages. What we need now is food supplies!”
      •  Organization plans on sending a team of doctors to Fazil Koruna
    Sindh, Pakistan:
    • Edhi Foundation:  Edhi is to Pakistan what Mother Teresa was to India. 
    • Edhi Foundation has shifted 25,000 flood victims of Ghauspur area to different schools of Sukkur, Sindh. The foundation has also provided free meals to 12,000 flood victims in Sukkur.  1,700 staff are involved in rescue and relief activities in Pannu Aqil and adjoining areas.

      Karachi Digest reported that Edhi foundation is collecting the following items:

      ·         Styrofoam rings or flat boards to float
      ·         Camping tents
      ·         Thick quilts to serve as beds
      ·         Buckets
